Subject: Left turn Traffic Signal adjustment
Can you please review the left turn signal (going North) at:
S. Belt Line Rd. @ Dividend Dr.
I work at AHMSI at 1525 S. Beltline road, and need to turn left on Dividend Dr. to get into my company’s parking
lot. The left turn signal is too short. Many times I am at the ‘Welcome To Coppell’ sign (this is around 7:15—
7:30 am) and it has taken me (and many people here at AHMSI) over 5 minutes to get through the light. It
appears that only 10 cars, at the most, can make this turn.
Also, I would like to mention that cars going east on Dividend, turning South onto Beltline, turn right (even
though they have a red light), this is while the arrow is green for the cars turning left on Dividend Dr. Some
drivers, making the left turn are making a ‘U’ turn to get into the parking lot for AHMSI. I would like to suggest
that you put up a ‘No turn on Red’ sign before something bad happens.
