The next Old Town Association Meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday
August, 10th 2011 at 8:00 a.m. in the Coppell Barber Shop.
The primary items we will discuss are:
!. The Old Town Committee has met with the City and will bring us up to
date on the Bethel Road Construction project, scheduled for January of
2012. Special signage, traffic flow, parking accommodations, special
construction promotion events, etc will be discussed.
2. The Farmers Market has been told that they will remain where they
are at least through October 8th, 2011, therefore we are considering having
our October Fall Festival on that date ( Oct 8th ). We will discuss various
event activities, etc for this event.
3. It is Membership Dues time and the Association will discuss
collecting the annual dues.
The Republicans in Old Town would not let us raise our Debt Ceiling
The Democratic Bankers would not increase our revenue
So we have to pay our dues to move forward in a balanced manner.
4. Other Items will be discussed as they are brought up
5. We would like to especially invite the members who do not come on a
regular basis as the information on the road construction is important to
us all.

I cannot attend. I think we should do what we can regarding signs. I have no intention of hiring a consultant to assist with
signage. We will place notices in Clips, on the web, in the water bill insert and on cable channel.
