Dear Mr. Karlsruher:
Enclosed zs a set of preliminary paving plan/profile sheets we
recently received for the above referenced project. These plans
were transmitted to us by Coppell's City Engineer, Russell Doyle,
along wzth a request to determine whether the Coppell Municipal
Utility District No. 1 owns any utilities which may be in
conflict wi th the proposed paving and storm drainage
impr ovemen t s.
The utilities that were specifically h~ghlighted for our review
include a 12" gravity flow sanitary sewer line crossing Belt Line
Rd. approximately 250' East of MacArthur Blvd., and a 12" gravity
flow sanitary sewer line located in the vicinity of the proposed
south curbllne for Belt Line Road.
These sanitary sewer lines were not constructed by nor are they
owned Dy the Coppell Municipal Utility District No. 1. We do not
have any information as to whether the 12" sewer line has been
abandoned or is currently ~n service, but I believe you should be
able to obtain this information from officials with the Trinity
River Authority. They should have plans showing the point where
the 12" gravity line connects to their 33" interceptor line on
the north side of Belt Line Road.
The M.U.D. does have a 30" sanitary sewer force main which
connects to TRA's 33" gravity sewer line north of the St. Louis
and Southwestern Railroad R.O.W. The connection is approximately
200' East of the Eastern limit of your paving project (STA
91+13.72), and therefore should not conflict with proposed paving
impr oveme n t s.
