ST1002-CS100201 (10/13/2011) Keith Marvin - Re: Old Town - Utility Plan and Cost EstimatePage 1 From: Keith Marvin To: Thornhill, Caleb CC: Hatley, Tricia Date: 2/1/2010 9:33 AM Subject: Re: Old Town - Utility Plan and Cost Estimate Caleb, Please send me the revised contract as soon as possible. Also, I was able to download the plans for Bethel, but I didn't see the contract documents. Keith Keith Marvin, P.E. Project Engineer (972) 304-3681 >>> Caleb Thornhill <bct@freese.com> 1/29/2010 12:26 PM >>> Keith, Sorry again about today. I left you a message. I've wrenched my back something fierce. It's started last Sunday while cleaning out the garage and now just pops up out of the blue. I look like the hunch back walking around. I'm going to run to the Dr. and see if I can get some sort of muscle relaxer. Bethel: * I've posted the Bethel Plans on our FTP site. I'll plan on coming out there early next week, but this will give you some time to review. There are a couple of clean up items, but barring any major comments should be able to sign them next Friday. Here are the instructions on how to get to the files: . * I talked with our Construction Services about the bridge incentive. The suggest was to modify the "Time Bid". Have a B.1 (overall time) and a B.2 (bridge time). We would have to define the bridge calendar days. The only concern is providing incentive to complete a major structure. We don't want to sacrifice quality. Call my cell phone and we can discuss your thoughts. Coppell: * Structures is looking at the headwall detail and the plan and profile for Culvert B. He's supposed to get back with me 1st thing Monday or Tuesday. * I've attached a memo for the earth work calculations. Let me know if it's enough detail and provides you enough information. If not, an alternative would be to cut some cross sections every 100 ft (10/13/2011) Keith Marvin - Re: Old Town - Utility Plan and Cost EstimatePage 2 and get an average end-area rough calc. Old Town: I've attached the cost estimate and the Utility Plan layout. Please review both and let me know if you have any questions. If there aren't any major concerns, I can get a revised scope and fee to you first thing next week. Sorry again about today. Call me on my cell if you want to discuss: 214-952-9562. Get me before I get on the muscle relaxers. B. Caleb Thornhill, P.E. Freese and Nichols, Inc. 1701 N.
