Re: Coppell Community Park (Andrew
Project 20-00061
Brown Park)
Dear Mr. Ratliff:
This is in response to your letter of June 29, 1988. I have
reviewed your letter and the attached site plan "Proposed
Coppell Community Park, dated November 9, 1982". Park
Boulevard as shown on that plan does not constitute a
conversion of fund assisted property to other than outdoor
recreation use, and the Department has no objection. The
proposed road shown on the same plan intersecting Park
Boulevard approximately 600 feet west of Denton Tap Road and
traveling in a northwest direction is also outside of the
project area and is of no concern to the Department.
These roads are acceptable exactly as depicted on these
plans. If any change or realignment is to occur the city
should contact us in writing to assure such changes will'
have no park impacts. This information could have been
provided to the city earlier, however, we were awaiting a
written request to respond to.
Please call me if you have any questions or need further
assistance.
