I think we are going to be just about balanced. I wouldn't accept any more fill there. With the roadway cut we are doing, I think we have all the material we need for the pad sites. Trish Trish Hatley Freese and Nichols, Inc From: Caleb Thornhill Sent: Monday, March 22, 2010 10:06 AM To: Tricia Hatley Subject: Old Town Coppell - CPL09446 Here are copies of what we sent last week I sent this out Tuesday Meant to include this earlier with the cost estimate. The estimated additional fee will be approximately $31,500 to design the remainder of the Old Town Coppell Infrastructure Improvements. Once you guys have had a chance to sit down and verify the responsibilities of the City and the developer, we can sit down and discuss which route you guys would like to take. B. Caleb Thornhill P.E. Can you send it again? As far as the earthwork, will we need additional fill material, or are we about right? Keith Keith Marvin, P.E. Project Engineer (972) 304 -3681 >>> Tricia Hatley < thh _freese.com 3/23/2010 1:07 PM >>> Ken, Mindi and Keith, Just checking in with you guys to see if there have been any changes since our last meeting. We are working on 30% plans based on the exhibit that Caleb sent over last week. Our plan is to have those plans to you by Friday, March 26th. We'd like to have a meeting that following week to review them with you and get your input /changes. Also, it might be good to have Yancy and the architect attend that meeting so that they can comment on our utility plans, etc. Maybe we meet together first and then bring them in? Whatever you guys think is fine with me. I just need the input before we plow forward with construction plans. If you'd like to proceed with adding in all of the infrastructure that the city is responsible for, I'd like to have that decision by our meeting the week of the 29th. I hope that is reasonable for you guys. Or if you already have an answer, let me know and we'll get moving on it. Yancy sent me a note last week asking about that ROW on Burnett street. The one where the parking extends outside of the ROW. He was asking if we need to move the ROW to be 10' off of the curb. I'm happy to make that change now if you are okay with that. it will change the ROW area calculations. Do you want me to send something over showing the suggested change? Or just move forward as is? it's not something I've been too focused on since we are working on the design of the other roadways but I know that it is important for the plat. On the earthwork, it looks like we will be able to use all of the dirt on site (at least what was there when we did the topo survey, not sure if more has been added). We'll have more details on that when we meet. Call me if you want to talk about that sooner. Anything else that is on your minds at this point? Trish Tricia H.
