FILL MATERIAL WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D- 698 /THD
T -99 SHALL BE PLACED IN 6 TO 8 INCH LIFTS COMPACTED TO 95% OF
THEORETICAL DENSITY WITH A MOISTURE CONTENT AT MINUS 2% TO PLUS
47 OF OPTIMUM. THE APPROVAL OF ANY DEVIATION FROM THE ABOVE
REQUIREMENTS WILL BE MADE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS BY THE CITY
ENGINEER.
CONCRETE PAVEMENT THICKNESS SHALL BE MINIMUM 8 INCHES AND
HAVE MINIMUM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF 3600 PSI.
ALL PAVEMENT HAND POURS AND IRREGULAR SECTIONS SHALL CONTAIN
A 36DD PSI CONCRETE WITH A MINIMUM OF 6 SACKS OF CEMENT PER
CUBIC YARD. ALL CONCRETE MIXES SHALL CONTAIN CRUSHED ROCK
AGGREGATE. FLY ASH WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FOR CONCRETE
PAVEMENT MIXES.
ALL CURBS SHALL BE 6 INCH INTEGRAL CURBS.

11, VERIFY LOCATION OF ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES BEFORE BEGINNING

12. ALL REINFORCING STEEL AND DOWEL BARS IN PAVEMENT SHALL BE
SUPPORTED AND MAINTAINED AT THE CORRECT CLEARANCE BY THE USE

13, ACCESS TO ABUTTING PROPERTY DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THIS

OPEN TO THE TRAFFIC BY PAVING ONE -HALF WIDTH AT A TIME.
15, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE CITY AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR
TO ANY DETOURS AND SHALL RECEIVE APPROVAL PRIOR TO
IMPLEMENTATION.
16, PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION SHALL COMPLY WITH CITY OF GOODELL PAVING
STANDARDS AND DETAIL SHEETS.
17, CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLYING WITH A.O.A. AND
TAS REGULATIONS FOR SIDEWALKS, CROSSWALKS, DRIVEWAYS, PARKING.
ETC. BARRIER -FREE RAMPS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED PER CITY OF
COPPELL DETAILS.
18. FRANCHISE UTILITIES TO BE RELOCATED BY OTHERS PRIOR TO
CONSTRUCTION. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY UTILITY COMPANIES 48 HRS,
PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION FOR FLAGGING AND VERIFICATION OF ALL
UNDERGROUND UTILITIES.
19, WHEN GRADING PARKWAYS, CONTRACTOR SHALL PRESERVE TREES WHERE
SHOWN AND MAINTAIN DRAINAGE FROM ROW TO BACK OF CURB.
CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN CITY APPROVAL ON ALL PARKWAY GRADING.
20, NO EXCESS EXCAVATED MATERIAL SHALL BE DEPOSITED IN LOW AREAS
OR ALONG ANY NATURAL DRAINAGE WAY, WITHOUT APPROVAL By THE
CITY ENGINEER. IF THE CONTRACTOR PLACES EXCESS MATERIAL IN
AREAS WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION, HE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
ALL DAMAGE RESULTING FROM SUCH FILL AND HE SHALL REMOVE THE
MATERIAL AT HIS OWN COST IF THE CITY SO DIRECTS.
21, NO TREES SHALL BE CUT EXCEPT ON SPECIFIC AUTHORITY OF THE
OWNER, AT THE LOCATIONS SHOWN ON PLANS.
22. THE CONTRACTOR 15 RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING STREE75 AND
SIDEWALKS ADJACENT TO THE PROJECT FREE OF MUD AND DEBRIS FROM
CONSTRUCTION AT ALL TIMES.
23, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE THE CITY OF GOODELL STANDARD
CONSTRUCTION DELAYS FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION UNLESS NOTED
OTHERWISE.
24, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE AND SUBMIT A STORM WATER
POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN (SWPPP) FOR THIS PROJECT AS PART OF
