Ratliff, City Manager Parkway Boulevard Due to limited staff trying to undertake the coordination and management of the construction of improvements to Parkway Boulevard, and to ensure the completion and opening of this road with the new Coppell High School, we have asked Wayne Ginn to provide us with an estimate in the project. Mr. Ginn has provided the attached estimate for this effort. As you may be aware, there may be several issues which may complicate the project i.e., the alignment crosses through a small section of Brown Park and due to the state park grant which was obtained, it will require working with the landowner and state to either secure approval of this alignment via some state of conversion process'or to seek a new alignment for the road. We have placed this item on your June 14th agenda and seek City Council's guidance in this matter. This is extremely difficult to estimate due to the unknowns involving the CISD, the new developers, FEMA, Parks Dept., etc. The basis of the estimate is 3 weeks of time during the next 6 to 9 months.
