Dear Russell:
The condition of the detour was addressed with the contractor on
the afternoon of 9/22/88. Thereafter, the contractor addressed
the situation by adding flexbase to the area of concern and
smoothing out the ramps over the median.
The signage was addressed with the contractor on Wednesday,
9/28/88. Improving the visibility of the existing signage and
installation of a "Bump" sign at the median crossover were both
requested of the contractor.
On Thursday, 9/29/88, the contractor added a "Bump Ahead" sign on
Southwestern Blvd. for advance warning purposes.
~ /~he traffic is currently planned to be switched on Tuesday,
/10/4/88, from the existing Southwestern Blvd. pavement to the new
~ temporary asphalt connection to Belt Line Road. This switch will
~ alleviate the need for the crossover at the median currently
\being used.
