In response to your memo of 09/01/88 (received 09/06/88), we agree
with your comments and observations, however, this intersection is
not within the City of Coppello
You may wish to verify with Larry Jackson first, but the City of
Coppell may be exposed to additional liability if the City pursues
stdping within the IH 635 TSDHPT right-of-way. This striping is
not part of the Beltline Road (South) scope of work.
We would suggest in light of the above that the TSDHPT (District 18
Office) be contacted and these observations and requests be made to
them. We would be happy to pursue this for you, should you desire.
Incidentally, the traffic signals currently existing at the Beltline/
635 North frontage road intersection are owned, operated and maintained
by the TSDHPT.
