Bo~/478 Coppe~ TX. 75019 Re:/Belt Line Road (South) J Pavement Conditions Dear Mr. Doyle: As follow-up to your Handwritten Memorandum dated 5/10/89, we offer the following comments. Regarding the pavement crack in the panel immediately north of the park entrance, our field investigation has revealed this to be a random crack not stress related. Regarding the second location cited, there has not been any pavement settlement but rather a slight dip exists at the construction joint where the pavement work stopped and then re- started on different concrete pours. These locations can be monitored by the city staff during the one year maintenance period and if conditions change, follow-up with the contractor could be pursued. If you feel the slight dip mentioned above is beyond reasonable tolerances, we shall advise the contractor, on behalf of the Owner, to address this situation at this time.
