SS9301-CS 921006TO: Alan D. Ratliff, City Manager CiTY MANAGER
FROM: Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E., City Engineer
SUBJECT: Letter from Mr. Charlie Seraphin of 776 Crestview Circle
DATE: October 6, 1992
Mr. Seraphin has requested the City respond as to the status of the Sewer Master Plan and the
City's plans for the two vacant lots at the southwest corner of Mockingbird and Crestview Circle.
This question is directly related to the Grapevine Sanitary Sewer Project. As I indicated in a
previous memo, bids have been received and opened on that project and we will be discussing
several options concerning that project at the November 10, 1992 City Council meeting. Because
we will be requesting that the sanitary sewer be micro-tunneled along the rear of the two lots in
question, it is quite possible that the Ciw can work out an arrangement where the lots can be
developed, even over the top of the sewer easement. This should alleviate the builder's concern
and the resident's concern about the future status of those two lots.
I would request that this item not be discussed at the October 27, 1992 City Council meeting.
I have a previous engagement t~at evening concerning the sale of my home in Arlington. I will
be unable to attend the City Council meeting.
Unless you have any objecfions,.I__wil~l_contact Mr. Seraphin to request that this be disc, ssed
the..__November 10, 1992 City Council meeting and if we can come to a resolution concerning_t~he
status of those two lot prior to that date, ii might not even be necessary to discuss this issue in
a formal setting.
If you have any objections to this revised time table, please let me know. If not, I will contact
Mr. Seraphin and let him know that we will be discussing the Grapevine Creek Sanitary Sewer
project at the November 10, 1992 City Council meeting. /~p/T/~)2~ ~

City of Coppell
Coppell, Texas 75019
Dear Mr. Ratliff:
Please schedule a time at the October City Council meeting to
discuss-the proposal for the Coppell Sewage Master Fian.
As residents of the neighborhood adjacent to a portion of the
proposed sewage line, we are concerned about specific plans and
timetables. We are especially interested in the City's plans for
the two vacant lots on the southwest corner of Mockingbird and
Crestview Circle, as these lots directly impact the value of our
homes and the future of our neighborhood.
