Dear Mr. Goram:
The plans, specifications and contract documents for the above referenced
project have been completed, including all comments from the July 8, 1992 meeting.
The date for opening of bids is September 29, 1992 as per the city's request.
Enclosed is the "Advertisement for Bids" form. Please have Mr. Ratliff sign it
and return to us for inclusion in the Contract Documents. Please forward an executed
copy to the Purchasing Agent so that he may begin his advertising.
In order to have plans and specifications printed and available on September 3,
1992, as stated in the advertisement, the executed form must be returned by August 24,
1992.
Should you have any further minor comments, questions, additions, or deletions
regarding the plans or specifications, those need to be resolved prior to the August 24,
1992 deadline also. We are available to meet with you at anytime to discuss this
further.

September 29. 1992. and then publicly opened and read aloud.
The Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Forms 'of Contract,
Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and
Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the

Copies may be obtained at the Engineer's office of Ginn & Case,
Inc. for a payment of $150.00 per set, non-refundable. Bidding
documents will be mailed via U.S. Mail, fourth class, upon
receipt of payment, plus $10.00 handling and shipping charge.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and/or to
reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, a
security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions
provided in the Instruction to Bidders.
PRINCIPAL ITEMS OF WORK INCLUDED IN THIS PROJECT
APPROXIMATELY 11,400 LF OF 30" DIAMETER SANITARY SEWER MAIN;
APPROXIMATELY 4,250 LF OF 24" DIAMETER SANITARY SEWER MAIN;
APPROXIMATELY 570 LF OF 48" DIAMETER, AND 200 LF OF 36" STEEL
ENCASEMENT PIPE; APPROXIMATELY 75 MANHOLES, 5' AND 6' DIAMETERS,
RANGING IN DEPTHS TO 30 FEET, INCLUDING DROPS AND TYPE "S"
MANHOLES; APPROXIMATELY 800 LF OF BORING AND JACKING;
APPROXIMATELY 1100 LF'OF MICROTUNNELING; AND ALL APPURTENANCES
FOR A COMPLETE SYSTEM.
