Mindi,
I'm happy to meet with him, but I am not the one that will determine compliance. This facility will need to
be inspected by the state or a Registered Accessibility Specialist. Bill should be aware of this, and he
should have already submitted the plans for review.
That inspection will determine whether the walkways are compliant.
We do not usually use stamped or colored concrete in sidewalks. If Bill is specifying this, he will need to
ensure it will be deemed compliant.
I'm in class today and tomorrow, but I could meet on Friday.

Can you meet with Bill Peck (the architect) and Jeff Ballard (the contractor) to discuss this? Jeff is going
to pour the sidewalks in the back of the buildings, and I want to make sure he does it correctly. Bill is
going to advise him on where the sidewalks go, the pattern and color based on our standards, etc.

To my knowledge we will use the council approved color and pattern for the stamped concrete in the
Carter Crowley development.

I got the City's standard detail from Larry Davis earlier today. I just wanted to make sure that we were
using the same standards on the Carter Crowley banding found at the intersections before I passed it
along to Mindi and Bill Peck.
They are trying to match what is being used for Carter Crowley for the Kirkland House/Minyard Store
onsite walkways.
