From:   <Richard.Brewster@oncor.com> To:   <kmarvin@coppelltx.gov> Date:   2/9/2011 2:51 PM Subject:   Converting OH to UG along Bethel Rd.   Keith,   I have completed the preliminary cost for placing the low voltage lines (secondary and service) underground. Please be aware that this is an estimate only, and could change based on the individual locations. I have determined that the approximate cost to bury under the road (using bores to avoid pavement cuts) would be $6500.00. This takes into account 2 services currently overhead placed underground, remove all overhead facilities, and boring the road to place cable underground to serve the 2 houses. If there is only 1 house being served at a location, the price would drop a little by deleting the nd 2 service and reducing the size of the cable being placed under the road.   Please make sure that the City understands that this is an estimate only (although it should be pretty close) and if you decide to pursue this further, a field survey and actual project would need to be produced to determine a fixed price.   I’m still working on the high voltage locations, but hope to have them by the end of the week. Let me know if you need further explanation on this first price. Thanks!       Richard Brewster Oncor Electric Delivery 1616 Woodall Rodgers Fwy, Ste. 3M-011 Dallas, TX 75202-1234 214-486-4245     file://C:\Documents and Settings\radloo\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4D52A9D6City...10/17/2011
