The City of Coppell is continuing construction on a major sewer trunk main that goes from the
intersection of Beltline Road with MacArthur Blvd. to the intersection of Southwestern Blvd.
with Grapevine Creek (west side of Denton Tap Road). This is a major trunk line that will
provide sewer facilities for the western part of the City of Coppell. The contractor, Kenko Inc.,
began construction in the first part of May, 1993. The contractor is currently approaching
Denton Tap Road with the installation of the pipe. To facilitate construction, the City Council
has authorized the contractor to close Bethel Road from Denton Tap Road to Coppell Road. The
road will be closed beginning June 6th, 1994 and will be closed for approximately two months.
During that time frame there will be no through traffic, however, any residents that live along
Bethel Road will have access to their property.
