Dear Sirs:
Southland Contracting, the micro-tunnelling subcontractor for
the referenced project has completed in excess of 1900 linear foot
of 30" micro-tunnel as of this date. They are complete up to
Station 92+45 and will soon commence micro-tunnel construction
under East Bethel Road. Although the work has not progressed as
expeditiously as anticipated or desired, Southland has more than
adequately proved their capability in performing and completing the
work.
With the above facts in mind, Kenko respectfully request
permission to remobilize to the site and begin the open cut
construction of Branch II. It is anticipated that Kenko will have
a crew available for this work within the next week to ten days.
