Dear Mr. Griffith:
Thank you for your letter dated October 29th, 1993. I have been watching the work going on in
my backyard vdth great interest. I am most pleased the ciB' is fixing the drainage problems behind our
house at 775 Pelican Lane.
As you offered, please send me an "exact determination" of my property related to flooding.
Also during the course of the construction work in my bac~'ard, the crews tore out two sections
of my sptinkler system and removed a great deal of dirt. I have the follow4ng questions:
· Will the ci~- repair the sprinkler ~'stem, or should I have the original contractor fix the
sprinkler ~'stem and bill the ciBT? (approximate cost: $750)
· Will the city replace the dirt in my back%'ard and bring it back to pre-construction le~'els
or should I hire outside contractors to bting in fill dirt and level my yard? (approximate
cost: $3,000 - $6,000)
