HAND DELIVERED
Royal Lane has been completed for some time and is actually
being used by the travelling public. Thompson Management Company
is very proud of the successful completion of this project and I
am sure that the City of Coppell is happy with it also.
Thompson Management Co. needs a letter indicating final
acceptance and release of this project. Once the letter is
obtained and a maintenance bond is in place, the contractor,
Uvalde Construction Company, will be paid its retainage. This
includes the retainage for the 16-inch water line which totals
$16,131.30 which'is the responsibility of the City of Coppell.
There are no inspection fees due on this property since it
was agreed early in the process that all city inspection fees
wouiO be waived beCau~ ~i~,i~ £,~ ~f£~u~ ~ ~ Cit~ project, being
paid for by my client. ~n addition., the City of Coppell is
responsible for the drainage on the Minyard site and any clean-up
cost of the existing channel along Bethel Road due to the lack of
drainage outfall on the Minyard site is the respons~_o/--the~
there should be no~quirem~nt of a $3,500.00

Please provide Thompson Management Co., through me, a letter
accepting the Royal Lane project so that the contractor can be
paid. Also, Frank Trando indicated that the City is prepared to
remit the final retainage payment that is due and owing to the
contractor for the construction of the water line.
