RE: Royal Lane
Dear Mr. Owens:
On ].2/15/88 at 9:00 a.m. Representatives of the City of Coppell, DFW
Airport, and DeShazo, Sta~ek & Tang conducted the final inspection
walk-thru of Royal Lane. The following items will need to be corrected
and/or resolved. Upon completion of the items, each department will
need to be notified for verification.
Fire Department / Troy Glidewell
1) Paint all fire hydrant bonnets and nozzle caps yellow
2) Install blue stimsonite fire-lite reflector in front of each fire
hydrant
Street Department / Per Birdsall
1) Seal all crack and expansion joints in pilot channel
2) Rub out headwalls into a uniform finish surface
3) Chip out all cracks in headwalls and fill with nonshrink epoxy grout
4) Seal all curb cuts
5) Epoxy all channel curb breakage at pipe tie-ins and curb transition
6) Clean slag from al'l inlets
Water Utility Department / Howard Pafford
1) Paint all valve lids (fire hydrant red) (main line blue)
2) Sanitary sewer manhole holding water (look like oil or septic).
need to pump out and check substance
3) Mark curb with "M" for manhole and "V" for'Valves
4) Valve missing for USPS 8" meter vault
5) Valve pad broken on third fire hydrant north of railroad
6) Need to open manhole on 16" valve at Bethel
Will
DFW Airport / A1Magazzine
1) Fill between railroad tracks on east side of Royal
2) Need one set of Mylar "As Built" Plans
USPS / Roy Prince
1) Replace property pins
Public Works Inspections / Steven M. Morton
1) One year maintenance bonds
2) Two blue line and two mylar "As Built" drawings
3) Copy of receipt of payment of 1.5% inspection fee
4) Written notification from DFW Airport,~ St. Louis/Southwestern
Railroad, State Department of Highway and Public Transportation,
USPS, Ginn Inc., and City of Coppell staff that all items contractural
and punch list have been completed to their satisfaction.
