Memo from Ginn, Inc - Royal Ln. ExtensiOn Construction Plans
Per, attached is the letter received from' Glen, Inc. which was
addressed to City Engineer Russell Doyle concerning the above
referenced matter. In the correspondence it indicates that drainage
channels are at this point being suggested for private maintenance.
Please review the attachment and make any comments you feel would
be applicable in order for this to transpire in a smooth orderly
fashion for the future, not' only in a temporary perspective but
possibly long-term. We are not sure how long it will be before
that area develops whereby removing the open drainage channel.
I do agree with the two comments that have been outlined in the
correspondence from our Consulting Engineers regarding a formal
maintenance agreement. It will be my position and I hope you concur
that any agreement will be acknowledged through written documentation
only as well as indicated on the approved construction plans. Please
review and provide a response by September 30, 1988. Thank you.
