Dear Hr. Echols:
On Friday, July 7., 1989, I visited'the site to review the Paving
and Utility construction on the referenced contract. This date
is 88 days from the prelect start date which was April 10, 1989.
The contract time is 120 calendar days. Contract completion date
~is August 7, 1989.
I reviewed the site with Hr. harry Davis, construction inspector
-with the Engineering Department of the City of ~Coppe11. 'The
contractor,_ h. H. hacy Company, had recently completed all
concrete paving operations with the exception_ of the connection
of the driveway from the High School site to the High School
Access Road. During my visit, workmen arrived at. the site and
appeared to be grad/ng the subgrade for this connection. No
other construction was underway during my visit.
.Mr. Davis had concerns regarding the appearance, of the media~
nose concrete, on the' east side of the Parkway Boulevard/High
School Access Road. intersection. The median nose should have a
three-foot radiuSin accordance with the plans. The cons'tructed
shape appeared irregular. Mr. Davis will direct the contractor
to remove the median nose concrete at this location and replace

We are currently awaiting results of the 28 day concrete strength

specifications. Twenty-eight day concrete strength test results
should be available around July 25, 198~. Surveyors will check
