Dear Mr. Lipscomb:
As requested, for the locating of valves on the existing 16" water
line in Bethel Road and Freeport Parkway, we propose to perform the
following added work for the considerations shown:
For furnishing labor and equipment required to perform locations
and temporary pavement repair required, to include fuel, oil,
grease, payroll taxes, insurance, overhead and profit at $125.00
per hour for time on job.
For materials required for locations and pavement repair, at cost of
actual delivered material invoice, plus 15% for overhead and profit.
3. For barricades required to perform work as per attached rental list,
paid at suppliers actual invoice, plus 15% for overhead and profit.
The above quoted prices are based on locating utilities and temporary
repair of paving, one time only, any additional repair required will be
quoted at a later date or incorporated in the change order forthcoming for
lowering the existing 16" R.C.P. water line.
This additional work will not be a chargable day of work on our
original contract, nor is retainage to be held on rental work.
Should you have any questions regarding this additional work, please
call at any time, or please issue a change order reflecting same at the
earliest possible date.
