Kenko Job #9306
* Branch II Scheduling
Dear Sir:
Kenko is in receipt of your letter dated July 22, 1993. You
state that proceeding with Branch II construction would severely
limit your ability to solve any problems in the micro-tunnelling
portion of the work. It should be noted that the flow elevations
for Branch II remain consistent with the original "open-cut" design
for Branch I. With this in mind, Kenko cannot imagine any problems
in Branch I which would necessitate raising the flowline elevations
in Branch II.
It should be noted that as of today Kenko will complete
installation of the 30" sewer to approximately Station 83+00. In
the next week Kenko will drop back to pull mandrels, air test and
make connections. Due to the current status of the micro-
tunnelling, Kenko will be limited to the section of sewer
downstream of Station 34+00. If the Owner's and Engineer's final
decision is disallow construction of Branch II at this time, Kenko
upon completing the above mentioned work will move off the project.
Kenko will return once the remaining work is released for
construction and weather conditions are favorable.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Kenko, Inc.
