'I. PROJECT ISSUES
A. DWU Lowerings
1. Assuming lowering #6 passed ~he bacteriological test (results should be here by 1:00 p.m.),
lowerings//5 and #6 should be done by Saturday. If #6 bacteriological test fails, will have
to do #6 w/#7 after the 23~.
2. Lowering #7 should be done between April 28-31sL
3. M-Co could only get 2 welders today. More will be available on Friday,
B. Project Schedule
i. MacArthur Intersection
a. Begin working on SE quadrant (Phase I) on May 1~'. It should take 4-6 weeks. Phase
II (NE corner) 4-6 weeks. Phase III, IV, 4-6 weeks each. Message board to be set out
this week - "May 1 - Dec. 31. One Lane ahead", ¢~c..
2. Re~ainin$ Wall (~ Heartz should be done within a week.
C. Degraded Pavement SEctions
Coppell is still awaiting a letter from Ed Bell on a proposed course of action.
D. DWU Change Order
DWU Vault - still waiting on resolution to meter vault. Afford and Garreth are to meet to
discuss fl~is.
E Changes to Paving
1, Price proposal for using color, su~mped concrete versus brick pavers. Ken Griffin will
provide answer by next week.
2. Ed Bell does not want to cut entire intersection down.
