Subject: Old Town
I met with Freese & Nichols this morning to discuss the incorporation of the Bethel Road plans into the
Old Town project. Several questions have come up concerning landscape, street furniture, enhanced
pavement, etc. The Old Town project has a distinct street scape that is considerably different than the
original intent of the Bethel Road plan. The question is do we want to stick with the original Bethel
concept, or modify it to blend better with the Old town.
I would like to meet early next week to discuss these issues in detail. Several decisions need to be made
quickly so we can maintain the schedule for the overall project.
Suggested meeting dates are Monday at 10:00am or 2:00pm or later, or Tuesday afternoon.
