Please let this letter confirm that we have entered into a
construction contract with Surles Ornamental Iron for
construction of the small ornamental wrought iron fence being
installed along the north side of Riverchase Drive. This is the
same wrought iron fence mentioned as part of our application for
the variance deleting a sidewalk in that location. Work is
underway under the contract and installation at the site should
start this week.
Please let this letter also confirm that acceptance or approval
by 1 of the construction of P2~~of
should not be considered a wai~he
requirement that a sidewalk be constructed along the south side
of Riverchase Drive. As we have discussed with you, sidewalk
installation will occur as part of development of each site along
the south side of Riverchase Drive. Construction now would
invite damage to the sidewalk as development proceeds.
We hope this letter will give you the confirmations you requested
in connection with approval of the construction of Phase 1 for
Riverchase Drive. If you need anything further, please let us
