Elevated Storage Tank
Dear Mr. Swinnea:
After discussions with the City of Coppell, we have prepared a list of items needing completion before final
acceptance of the project. These items are as follows:
1) The rye grass needs to be removed, permanent "top gun" buffalo grass needs to be hydromulched and a
stand of grass needs to be established.
2) Numerous landscape plantings are dead and need replacement. Some of these plantings are as follows:
· GIoriosa Daisy, Rudbeckia Hirta "Double Gold"- 4 (four) -1 gallon plants
· Purple Cornflower, Echinacea Purpurea- 7 (seven) - I gallon plants
· Compact Texas Sage, Leucophyllum Frutescens "Con~pactum" 6 (six) - 5 gallon plants
3)The operation of the interior lights of the elevated tank needs to be checked and corrected. The City
reports that some lights do not work.
4) Someone has cut off the City's padlock on one of the gates and replaced it with one for which the City
does not have a key. The City cannot fully utilize this site with only one gate for access. The padlock
needs to be removed and a new padlock and key provided to the City.
5) The broken landscape light included in the punch list (Exterior Item 1, November 11, 1999) has been
replaced with the wrong type of fixture. This light needs to be replaced with the fixture specified in the
construction plans and specifications.
6) Some portions of Northpoint Drive and the north driveway do not drain. These drainage items need to be
corrected to provide positive drainage in these areas.
Please provide the manpower, equipment and materials to complete this work in a timely manner. If you have
