Subject: Wagon Wheel Elevated Storage Tank
Joe Swinnea with Landmark Structures called yesterday to discuss the planting of buffalo grass at the elevated
tank site. He stated that his landscape contractor had gone to the site yesterday to mow and spray herbicide
on the rye grass to kill it before planting the buffalo grass. After the landscape contractor had arrived at the
site, he called Joe Swinnea and stated that someone had already mowed it. He also stated that not only had
someone mowed the grass, they had also mowed over the perennials in the planting beds and rutted up the site
with the mowing equipment. Mr. Swinnea wanted to make it clear that neither Landmark Structures nor his
landscape contractor mowed the grass or damaged the plantings. Landmark's landscape contractor proceeded
to spray the herbicide and will be back next week to spray the buffalo grass hydromulch.
