Moore Road - Fire Hydrant Extension
near Sandy Lake Road
Dear Steve:
Per our conversation on Monday, 8/3/87, regarding the above fire
hydrant extension located on the east side of Moore Road, near
the convenient store at Sandy Lake Road intersection, our review
has indicated that this needed extension is not a result of
construction on Moore Road, but rather has always been low.
As we discussed, Ashlar submitted a price of $500 to complete
this raising which was not originally accommodated for in their
contract. Since this seems extremely overpriced, we agreed that
City forces should pursue this work instead.
