ST8502-CS 870528GINN, INC. May 28, 1987 CONSULTING ENGINEERS TO: Ail Coppell Residents Re: Moore Rd. Imprv./Hydromulch Dear Resident: Moore Rd. is now near completion, and you have probably noticed that those previously bare ground areas adjacent to the work have been sprayed with a green slurpy mixture of wood fiber, bermuda seed, fertilizer and water which is referred to as hydromulch. Now that this final application is in place, there are a few things would like you to know. The newly seeded areas are highly susceptible to weed growth, and the tendency of many people would be to spray or treat the area with a weed killer which could damage or kill the new grass. Please refrain from using weed killers on these areas until the grass has had a chance to establish itself. Usually one good growing season is enough time. Preferably, you could cut the grass once it reaches at least 3" to 4" in height. Also, refrain from using any fertilizer for the next few weeks as this has been applied with the initial application of hydromulch. The contractor will be doing some watering for the next two weeks. We would like to see the areas kept moist but not soggy. If it appears the ground is too dry, then some watering on your part would help insure the seed germination. Again, we thank you for your patience and cooperation. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me any time at 248-4900, Ext. 114. Sin_~erely, Walter M. Ellison cc: Alan Ratliff, C.Mgr.
