Dear Ms. Davis:
Since January 1985, your company has been aware of the planned
paving and drainage improvements by the City of Coppell for
Moore Road. Currently at two locations on the project your
existing utility is still in conflict with the City's proposed
improvements.
We are aware of your current construction of a new cable along a
section of Moore Road which will alleviate these existing
conflicts. However, the 2-3 weeks required for this
construction to be completed flatly does not address the problem
at hand in a timely fashion. A year to anticipate, plan and
schedule your relocations surely is reasonable.
The City of Coppell has in good faith allowed the use of their
public rights-of-way for use by GTE to install, operate and
maintain your facilities through your franchise agreement.
It is your obligation to comply to that franchise agreement with
the City of Coppell by relocating your utilities to accommodate
these paving and drainage improvements. You have had adequate
time to prepare, and to be delayed and stalled now simply is not
acceptable.

Therefore, you are hereby put on notice that construction is
proceeding and that you need to accomplish the relocations
immediately. It is our opinion that since materials are now
on-site that you are prepared to handle the lowerings or respond
to any interruptions that may occur due to this construction.
We would think that a quick response now would probably be more
effective for you.
We thank you in anticipation of your immediate response. Please
call us if you have any questions. We will be happy to work
with you as we have in the past on this as well as other City
improvement projects.
