Re: City of Coppell
Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Tank
Dear Mr. Swinnea:
During our final walk through of the City of Coppell, Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Storage Tank project,
there was some discussion concerning the final landscape plan and approach to installation of grass at the site.
We have re-visited this issue with the City of Coppell and believe we now have definitive direction for you.
You are hereby requested to proceed with the installation of the landscape plantings and grasses as called for
on the current construction plans. This includes the installation of solid block sod Buffalo Grass where shown.
However, in the areas where Buffalo Grass seed is called for, due to the time of year, you are directed to install
Rye Grass hydromulch seed at this time. After March 15, 2000 it will be necessary for you to re-hydromulch
the site with Buffalo Grass seed. This will likely require that you remove or otherwise eliminate the Rye Grass
in order for the Buffalo Grass to properly germinate and fill -in as required by the project specifications.
