Dear Kevin:
I have reviewed the plans for installation of a 12-inch water main under-
neath the CPL 6-inch pipeline at a point east of Moore Road in Coppell,
Texas. Installation of the water main may proceed upon the Contractor
agreeing to the following conditions:
Local Continental Pipe Line Company personnel shall be notified 24
hours in advance of the water line installation and shall be on site
during all work near the pipeline. Please contact Mr. Brad France
at (817) 481-1566 or Mr. Jay Jones at (214) 527-4257.

The bore for the water main must be initiated on the south side of
the railroad, beyond the CPL line.
The outside diameter of the proposed casing must maintain a mini-
mum separation distance of 36-inches from the outside diameter of'
the CPL pipeline.
Continental Pipe Line Company shall be named as additional insured
without any qualifications or restrictions by the Contractor per-
forming work near the CPL pipeline. A certified copy of the
insurance policy shall be received at the CPL office in Lake Charles
with Continental Pipe Line Company named as the certificate holder,
prior to the commencement of work.
Ashlar Contracting Company shall indemnify and hold Continental
Pipe Line Company harmless from and against any and all claims for
injuries to person or persons or for damages to property arising
directly or indirectly from work to be performed by Ashlar
Contracting Company or its sub-contractors near CPL's pipeline·
Ashlar Contracting Company assumes all responsibility for any and
all damages to the Continental Pipe Line Company pipeline arising
directly or indirectly from work to be performed by Ashlar
Contracting Company or its subcontractors.

Approval for installation of the water main underneath the CPL 6-inch high
pressure petroleum pipeline will be given upon receipt of a copy of this
letter executed by an officer of Ashlar Contracting Company.
