Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Tank
Dear Mr. Swinnea:
A walk-through of the Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Storage Tank project in the City of Coppell was
completed today. Those in attendance were:

A punchlist of the items needing completion or correction was prepared at this walk-through. These items are
as follows:
Exterior
1. One landscape light on the north side of the property needs to be made operational.
2. All storage bin lights need to be re-directed to provide a satisfactory coverage of light in the storage bin
area.
3. Miscellaneous cracks in the pavement need to be routed and sealed. These cracks have been marked by
the City with white spray paint.
4. All paving joints need to be sealed up to 1/8" from the top of the concrete.
5. Curb joints need to be sealed.
6. Sealant that is coming out of the paving joints needs to be removed and replaced.

7. Nails present in the paving joints need to be removed and the joints sealed.
8. Two curb ears need to be installed near the noah and south truck door entrances.
9. The redwood joints located around the valve stacks in Noahpoint Drive need to be removed and replaced
with sealant.
10. A pavement chip located on the north edge of the north drive, west of the entrance gate needs to be
repaired.
11. The landscaping needs to be completed.
12. Some of the irrigation spray heads need to be adjusted to provide proper coverage.
13. Buffalo grass solid block sodding needs to be installed in the areas shown in the construction plans.
14. A silt fence needs to be installed at the throats of the two drainage flumes located in the storage bin area.
15. Channels need to be cut in the mow strip located on the south side of the noah drive, east of the entrance
gate to drain trapped water.
16. Hose bibs need to be installed at the locations shown in the construction plans.
17. A gate stop needs to be installed on the noah side of the north driveway, east of the entrance gate.
18. Letters on the entrance sign need to be straightened.
19. Rust spots on the exterior roof rail need to be removed and the rail recoated.
20. Exterior roof hatch gaskets need to be attached to the roof hatches.
21. The hinge pins on the roof railing gate need to be removed and replaced with stainless steel hinge pins.
22. The sweated copper fittings in the meter vault need to be removed and replaced with flared fittings.
23. The double-check cut-offvalve in the meter vault is not fully operational. A 90° angle stop furnished by
the City needs to be installed by your forces.
24. A certification of the double-check valve needs to be forwarded to the City.
25. A locking hasp needs to be installed on the meter vault.
26. A 12" thick sump drain needs to be installed in the meter vault.
Interior
1. The City continues to report SCADA communication failures from this tank. These failures need to be
corrected.
2. The corporation stop located on the noah side of the 20" inlet pipe leaks and needs to be repaired.
3. A lanyard needs to be installed on the top of the ladder near the roof access hatch.
4. Three interior lights are not operational. These lights are located on the north side of the storage floor,
half way up the first ladder and in the dry riser.
5. The emergency battery pack lights located along the ladders do not operate.
6. The cable on the wall mounted jib crane that hangs below the boom needs to be adjusted to limit the
amount of slack.
7. The intrusion alarms on the truck doors and personnel door are not operational.

8. Duplicates of keys to the doors, panels, etc. need to be provided to the City.
9. Galvanized steel angle needs to be installed on the storage floor around the inlet and overflow pipes.
10. The hydraulic door opener on the personnel door needs to be made to operate correctly.
11. O&M manuals and record drawings need to be furnished to the City.
12. The obstruction light switch located at the base of the ladder needs to be labeled and an indicator light
installed at this location to confirm whether the obstruction light is operational.
13. The sweated copper fittings on the copper piping to the chlorine analyzer need to be removed and
replaced with flared fittings.
14. Reflective tape needs to be installed on the spiral staircase where head clearance is limited.
15. The south truck door needs to be adjusted to close properly.
Please provide the manpower, equipment and materials necessary to complete these items in an expeditious
manner. Once you have completed these items, please notify us and we will schedule a final walk-through. If
