You may proceed with the installation of the 6" PVC sanitary
sewer line and 4' diameter manhole on the above referenced
project per the revised plans (sheets 9/25 and 10/25) dated
February 4, 1986. The purpose of the extension of the
existing 6" sanitary sewer line is to provide sanitary
sewerage for the new Fire Station (No. 2).
The unit price agreed upon for the 6" PVC (SDR 35) sanitary
sewer pipe was $26.00 per linear foot (approximately 236 LF
required). This price reflects full compensation for a
complete installation, including all labor, materials, tools,
incidentals, excavation, and compacted backfill per the City
of Coppell Standard Construction details. This item shall
appear on the payment application as Field Change No. 1 (6"
sanitary sewer). We already have a unit price bid for the 4'
diameter manhole ($2,300.00), so only the quantity will be
adjusted on the payment application for this one additional
manhole.
