RE:
Project Riverchase Dev.
(excavation hauling equipment)
Dear Mr. Dixon:
Pursuant to the conversation you had with Police Chief, Tom Griffin
and Public Works Director, Steve Goram, you are to immediately
stop all excavation hauling crossing Sandy Lake Road by means
of portable stop signs prior to them entering the right-of-way
at your project site. This measure will enable the flagmen to
stop the vehicular traffic traveling East and West~ on Sandy Lake
Road before the equipment crosses the right-of-way.
There have been many reports Of the equipment crossing the street
in excess of 30 mph. To ensure that the public safety is
maintained, this procedure will be implemented immediately and
observed Until the project is completed. The portable stop signs
will be furnished by the contractor.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and your immediate
response..
S teven M. Motton ~
Chief of La~~pment .
