Dear Mr. Powell:
As you may know, during the next 10 months, Moore Road
construction will create minor inconveniences for the Coppell
residents who use this road daily.
To help keep these inconveniences to a minimum, we have
already proceeded in improving the traffic signal red/green
sequence at the Moore Road/Belt Line Road intersection.
During the construction, Moore Road will be given a longer
green time than Belt Line Road. This modification should
improve the left-turn traffic flow from Moore to Belt Line,
which should particularly help traffic in the morning hours.
As the construction progresses, our staff will continually
monitor the impact of construction on the local traffic and
make other modifications as needed to help better serve the
residents in Coppell.
