Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Tank
Dear Mr. Swinnea:
As we discussed today, the City of Coppell has decided to substitute Prima Vera Common Bermuda solid sod
for the specified buffalo grass solid sod in the ditches and a Prima Vera Common Bermuda/Rye mix
hydromulch seed for the specified buffalo grass hydromulch seed in the other areas. The short remaining
growing season and the low maintenance requirements of the Prima Vera Common Bermuda prompted this
substitution.
This type of solid sod and seed is available through the Seed Research Company. Gary Simms with the City
of Coppell Leisure Services Department is familiar with this type of grass since it is used in the city parks.
He will be able to get you in contact with them. Before you proceed with placing the sod and hydromulch
you will need to submit the seed product data sheets for our review.
Please provide the manpower, materials and equipment necessary to complete this work in an expeditious
manner. The grass and landscaping will need to be in place in order for us to complete our first walk-through
of the project, which is scheduled for October 6, 1999.
