Halff and Associates 8616 Northwest Plaza Dr. Dallas, Tx 75225 RE: Roadway Improvement Plan Freeport Parkway (Catellus Development) Dear Sir: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the proposed revisions to Freeport Parkway and have the following comments to offer: 1) 2) It was our understanding that the existing sewer line would be televised. If that has not been accomplished yet, you may wish to contact Howard Pafford to see if that task can be performed by the City at a fee to the developer. Please comment as to why so many brick pavers are being removed. 3) 4) 5) Where are Cross Sections A-A, B-B, and D-D? At the intersection of Wrangler Drive and Freeport Parkway, there is a comment concerning repairing and sanding approximately 64 square feet of brick pavers. Does the 64 square feet refer to the actual amount repaired or to the sanding? There is a section of paving at the intersection of Wrangler Drive and Freeway Parkway that should be replaced. At the intersection of Airline and Freeport Parkway, it appears as though you are proposing to removed 30.4 feet of the median. The plan view should show the existing and proposed location of the median nose. 7) The existing brick pavers in the median section do not appear to be set on a concrete foundation, please replace to the current standards. 8) 9) Notice the locations where handicap ramps should be provided. Current construction standards for the pavement replacement and utility replacement should be used. There are also various other comments on the plans.
