ST8501-CS 930217Ms. Taryon Bowman Planning and Zoning Coordinator City of Coppell 255 Parkway Boulevard Coppell, Texas 75019 February 17, 1993 Dear Ms. Bowman: In January, 1985 the State of Texas entered into a contract to construct an interchange known as the Freeport Parkway Interchange at I.H. 635 and Freeport Parkway. Work began on the project in March, 1985 and the work was completed and accepted by the state in May, 1986. In connection with this project, a company called Triiand Development or Triland Investment was to construct the access road to the interchange as depicted in the attached drawing, Tracts ! through 4. They apparently did the work but it has not been accepted by the City of Coppell. I requested a copy of the contract between the City of Coppell and Triland on a previous occasion but apparently one could not be located. This request is to obtain ~-~'~-~copies of the change in the zoning restrictions of the property identified as Tracts 1 through 4. It is my understanding that the property was originally zoned Agriculture then changed to Commercial and then changed to Industrial. These changes may date back to 1983. Based upon the information I have the property, in part, two parcels at least, may be identified bearing tax numbers $5129685510180100, 41.6 acres and 65005640510020100, 53.9~ acres.
