Subject: Consultant Work Order/Freeport Parkway Railroad
Crossing
After reviewing the amount set aside in consultant
engineering for special projects, it appears that we are
going to be approximately $9,000 over. We are anticipating
that the general engineering fees will be reduced
sufficiently to offset this overrun. Therefore, I am
hesitant in approving this $600 expenditure. A coordinated
effort by in-house staff should adequately solve this
problem.
