RE: Stolen Bridge Railing
It was reported by observation made by Carl Bass on 9-24-87 that a section
of bridge railing had been removed from the Grapevine Creek bridge on Preeport
Parkway. The section missing was on the southeast side. Uponinspection
by Dana Kamp on 9-25-87 additional railing was missing, which he promptly re-
ported to Richard Diano and myself. Upon our arrival to that location Station
1 was notified to dispatch an officer to make a report (Sgt. Jack Foley).
Report was made with approximate amount of material stolen. It is now necessary
to barricade along both sides of the bridge to warn motorists of the possible
hazard. Additionally, the bridges on Royal and Coppell Rd. have been inspected
for missing railing of which there was none as of this date.
