Marcie with Planning asked me about it this morning. Michael Arellano, CBCO Chief Building Official TEL 972-304-3506 FAX 972-304-3514 >>> George Marshall 6/22/2010 4:18 PM >>> Michael, Please contact me as soon as the builder for 917 Deforest comes in with a Fence permit. A gentleman came into the engineering department today and mentioned that the homebuilder was going to just go ahead and fence across the drainage easement & HOA property. In the past we have been asked about if they can incorporate the HOA property into the lot and what they can build on the easement. Some of the ideas I have heard was a pool, retaining wall and gazebo. These are all items we do not want to have on top of that drainage easement. And they have been told that they would need to replat the lot & HOA lot in order to incorporate into the residential lot. I believe a meeting between our departments to discuss this issue is in order. Thank You, George George Marshall, PE City of Coppell Engineering 972-304-3562
