George,
A couple of questions regarding the Macarthur/Deforest signal plans:
1.The conduit run between Macarthur/Deforest and Macarthur/Samuel will have a #19 6 pair
communication cable AND two opticom cables (one for north to south and one for south to north).
Correct?
2.The detail sheets you provide me on 8/23/10 are different. The first detail sheet is from Valmont for
“Sandy Lake @ Riverchase”. The other detail sheet is for “Belt Line Rd at Mcarther” job from Union
Metal. Neither of these detail sheets are signed and sealed. Can you send me a detail sheet that has
the right project listed? What do you want to do about the lack of a seal? I would recommend the
manufacturer’s structural engineer needs to sign and seal the sheet.
3.Your pay item specs for Pedestrian Push Button and Sign Assemblies states “This work … with City
of Coppell standards and specification "Vehicle and Pedestrian Detectors; Detector Amplifiers; Lead
in Cable; Pedestrian Push Buttons; Installation Procedures"…”. The technical specs that you sent on
8/3/2010 does not include this detail. Do you have it?
4.We are assuming that we use TxDOT’s detail sheet TSCF-04 for the controller foundation detail. Is
this correct?
