Mr. Robinson,
We are taking a work session item to council on the 26th to discuss with them the offer the Lakes of
Coppell HOA has given us. I hope after that meeting we will have a direction to go in and can help
determine the timeframe.
The force main repairs are complete and the existing barrier free ramp & sidewalk has been repaired.
Verizon and Timewarner continue to make their transitions and demo of the old lines. Once they are
complete the old power poles will be removed.
I will have someone look into the new potholes.
Thank You, Georg

I would like to provide a my monthly update to our HOA and the other smaller HOA’s on
Deforest. Last we spoke the utility contractors were still working and the City was still
negotiating with the Lakes. Would you please provide some talking points on status.
Utilities?
Wastewater force main repairs complete
Negotiations with The Lakes?
Re-engineering required?
Revised construction schedule?
Last month I sent a note regarding who to contact for potholes on Deforest. Without e-mail
response they were filled in, thank you.
We do have at a couple points down Deforest, where the pavement edge has broken out and
created some deep drops. The loss of pavement has grown into the drive isle, and even
knowing it is there, I’ve hit it a handful of times, driving right for on-coming traffic. Cars
continue to hit and it is accelerating decay. Please let me know who to contact if needed.
Thanks,
Doug
