> George, it is the general consensus that the leak occurred on Tuesday, 2-22, but it might have been
Monday, 2-21. If it happens again, we will contact the fire department ourselves. Please let me know
what excuse the contractor says after your meeting with them. Again, the neighbors are pretty concerned
that no safety procedures were followed. We also want to be sure that all steps have been taken to
assure that the leak was properly resealed and that no more punctures will happen. We appreciate your
following up so quickly.

>> Hi. We had our annual meeting last week. I am afraid the vote was not unanimous to just tear down
the column. Most people wondered if you would consider removing it and then either setting aside fees to
replace it (or assist in replacing it, whatever is required) after the lot has been sold and the house built. I
don't think you will be putting in a sidewalk on that side while there is no home and it wouldn't make a lot
of sense to put the column back until that lot is sold. Let me know what you think.

>> Also, it was brought up at the meeting that there was a major gas leak last week in the street
construction at the entrance to our subdivision. Were you aware of this? Apparently the smell was so
bad that it could be smelled inside the homes as far back as the back of the subdivision. They did not tell
anyone. No one was removed from their homes and people were driving by this leak while it was
happening. A neighbor walking the dog passed immediately by the leak and could hear a really loud
hissing. This does not seem safe in the slightest. When other companies have cut into gas lines (which
is ridiculous) the neighbors were evacuated. I was in my house at the time and knew nothing of this. You
would have had quite a lawsuit if this thing had blown up. I am wondering now if the company doing the
construction even told you what was going on. I know they didn't contact the police which seems very
much against regulations. Please let me know the status of this. My neighbors are very concerned with
the integrity and safety of the company doing the work, understandably. I feel very lucky nothing
unfortunate happened this time and am greatly concerned of future happenings that could effect my
family's safety and home.
