Guido,
A few weeks ago, DART sent us the attached email. Through discussions at the City we are trying to figure out
our options. Because of this, I would like to determine what it would cost the City, today, to install pedestrian
gate equipment on the existing signal. I understand FWWR contracts through Railroad Signal International so I
have contacted them as well. I determined earlier that the Signal is a Western-Cullen-Hayes model 3590 gate
controller which has a sidewalk gate kit for around $700-800 and install should be about 2 hours each.
