Dear Ms. Sorokwasz:
I would like to thank you for your continuing cooperation and communication with us
regarding the purchase of your land. After consideration and reviewing the tree survey
you provided us, we are willing to make a new offer to you. The Dallas County
Appraisal District has your land valued at $1.76 per square foot. Therefore, we will offer
you $11,346.70 for the 6,447 square feet of land.
Also, based on the tree survey you provided, we will also compensate you $21,000.00 for
the 2- 30" trees that we will be removing.
In addition to the compensation for your land and trees, this project will extend water and
sewer service to your lot, as well as construct a permanent driveway approach at a
proposed median opening for easier access.
Construction is scheduled to start during 2012, and the city needs to acquire this property
as soon as possible.
If the above offer is acceptable, please sign below and return the letter to this office.
Once the letter is received, the process for payment of the $32,346.70 can start. Your
