Ken – I spoke with Casey Ross this morning regarding the Carter Addition Phase III CLOMR. Casey mentioned
they just got under contract with a biologist to assess impacts related to the Endangered Species Act and it
would be about three weeks before they have his report and can start coordination with the US Fish and Wildlife
Service.
I recommended in one of my comments that DAA include their assessment and correspondence with USFWS in
the CLOMR submittal to FEMA. Do you want to hold off on approving the CLOMR until that information is
available, or would you be OK sending the CLOMR to FEMA without it?
